PRESIDENT
The President is selected by a Leads2Biz corporate employee, if no Chapter Founder exists. They should be a leader and in most cases the founder of the chapter. The President then forms their chapters board. They conduct weekly meetings with the assistance of the remainder of the board. The key to a successful chapter is DELEGATION of all duties to the board. Each has their part in the weekly meeting. If the President is not the Founder, they should attend athe next available Chapter Founder coursegiven by Leads2Biz. The timing of the course will not conflict with their work or job, as it is held in the evenings or even on Sat AM, but in either case, when the Chapter President is available.
The President is not on the membership committee. Terminations are not frequent, but if one occurs, they require a unanimous decision by the entire board. On rules violations, non payment of dues, unprofessional conduct on the part of a member, or reasons deemed necessary by the ethics chairperson, the entire board will vote. In the case that no board is in place, the President or the Leads2Biz corporate representative may handle these decisions by themselves.
A Chapter President, who is not the Founder, has the same duties, even
after the chapter is already opened and grown. They may be asked to
bring in 5 (five) new members, just as a Chapter Founder is. If they
agree to accept the position, they have their dues waived for not only
that year, but all future years, just as a Chapter Founder does. If
after a period of 6 months goes by,m they have not fullfilled the
requirement to bring in 5 new members (non telesales or other members
bringing in guests) they may be asked to stay on, but as a paying
member. If they step down from the role of President and wish to
become a member, subsequent years will be chargeable as a member, at
the rate in effect when they joined.
Often, the role of President is one which individuals are afraid to accept due to all the etra work. Let us assure you, with proper delegation to the remainder of the baord, no work outside the weekly meetings from 7:30 AM until 8:45 AM is required or necessary.
